Hi. Welcome to By The Bottle. We’re going to figure this out together.

Each edition of BTB will feature a (hopefully) relaxed Q&A with someone cool. Maybe they’re in the wine industry, maybe not!

For every interview, we’ll split a bottle of wine of their choosing - something they’re loving right now. Don't worry, I’ll pay for half (#ethics).

As long as the bottle lasts, so will our chat. We’ll cover a lot of ground about the wine we’re drinking, recommended pairings from the pro, questionable recommendations from me, discussion about the wine industry as a whole and more.

I think wine can be really cool. It can also be really stuffy. Let’s avoid that. I’d love to hear your thoughts about anything and everything - people I should talk to, wines I should try, things you’d like to see in the newsletter, your favorite bizarre Wikipedia articles - whatever.
